7 Day Porn Diet Challenge Week 2 Update

Wow, what a week!

I achieved my goal as set out in part 1 of the 7 Day Porn Diet Challenge 

…but I watched porn twice and not once as I promised myself I would.

Man, giving up porn is hard.

Much harder than I thought.

I started having withdrawals towards the end of the week.

Seriously.

I tried masturbating over a real person – a girl I had seen or met – but I deflated not long after starting.

The girl I fantasized about: a very hot and sexy third year law student.

Why fantasize? Why didn’t you get her number, date her and do the deed?

Good questions.

Answers:

I’m taking a break from dating for the next 4 weeks (now 2) so I can complete this challenge.

I don’t date women under 28.

Let’s continue.

In his blog post, Pornography Can Ruin Your Sex Life, Mark Manson says he experienced  “some mood swings” in the first few weeks of giving up porn.

I didn’t have mood swings this week, but I found I needed porn to finish what I had started.

My sex drive remained the same even though I watched porn and played with my old fella less than the week before.

Actually, that’s not entirely true – I lost interest in sex or having sex from Monday to Thursday.

Before I took on the challenge I wanted sex every day…at least every other day.

It’s hard saying what effect or benefits the 7 Day Porn Diet Challenge is having after two weeks – the data is still being processed.

What I can say is I am noticing women I previously wouldn’t have given the time of day.

Not average women, but women who are a 6 or 7 out of 10.

Manson talks about having the same experience in his post.

I looked at  ‘chubby’ women (not fat) as being cute.

Women with glasses or freckles and red hair gave me a ‘half mongrel.’

I found intellectual conversations with women extremely sexy and I wanted to fuck the brains out of a Sri Lankan

…and an Afghani.

I never, ever thought I’d confess that.

More importantly, I felt intense desire and connection with these women and appreciated everything about them.

So at this stage the 7 Day Porn Diet Challenge is, in fact, having positive impacts on my libido.

I am becoming my best version in this area of my life.
