Porn Challenge Week 4 Update

I’ve called the fourth and final week’s episode Porn Challenge rather than 7 Day Porn Free Challenge because I found the latter created too much pressure to perform.

And the word diet is a misnomer.

Porn Challenge Week 4 Update

I did it! I only masturbated twice this week and didn’t watch porn, well no hard-core porn, anyway. I looked at ‘soft porn’ – pictures of pretty girls in lingerie, bikinis, yoga pants, etc.

But I thought of a ‘real’ woman both times, and I only used the soft porn props until I ‘got into the groove.’

I got to say I feel awesome.

This challenge tested me hard over the four weeks. If you’ve just joined us read “Even The Gods Enjoyed Porn…” to find out why.

Men Grow Through Challenge

To many of you the porn challenge might seem ridiculous, even crude or too personal.

Fair call, but I live honestly, and it’s far from crude or ridiculous.  Over the past four weeks from doing this challenge I have:

  • Grown as a man
  • Achieved a short-term goal
  • Fine tuned my mental toughness and resilience – overcame a limiting self belief
  • Found flaws and imperfections in women sexy, attractive, or both
  • Become attracted to women I wouldn’t even give the time of day to before – Asian, African, Afghan, etc.
  • Learned to see women from a place of love, affection, and appreciation, rather than just a sexual view point
  •  Grown a penis so big and thick I need a crane to lift it (I wish!)

What you focus on you attract

In previous episodes I’ve argued “is this from watching less porn, or masturbating less, or is because I’ve convinced the sub-conscious mind this is how things are?”

I don’t think it’s one or the other but rather a combination of the three.

Then again, who knows?

All I know is the sub-conscious mind is a very powerful tool. In his blog, Learn Mind Power, Jim Kehow points out the sub-conscious is:

not limited in any way and will forever attract to you according to your thoughts. It has no volition of its own and will simply act upon what resides and vibrates within

Therefore, one could argue my personal growth from doing the  7 Day Porn Free Challenge is a result of tapping into the power of sub-conscious mind, and not just from watching and masturbating less over porn.

And that in itself are two things I took to ‘another level’ from doing this challenge: Self discovery and my relationship with the Higher Self.

Cari saluti da Melbourne! And as always thanks for reading.
